Kochi: MP Hibi Eden officially launched the ‘No Entry’ anti-drug campaign in the Ernakulam constituency as part of the Substance Abuse Free Environment Village (SAFE) project. The event was held at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad.
The campaign was inaugurated by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, brand ambassador of the initiative, and is a joint effort by the Fourth Wave Foundation’s ‘Venda’ project, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)’s Future Kerala Mission, Kochi Corporation, six municipalities, and 24 panchayats.
Focusing on educational institutions, volunteers have begun mapping a 5-km radius around each school to launch awareness drives in collaboration with residents’ associations and Kudumbashree units, encouraging community-led drug prevention.
