Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi and submitted the recommendations from HYACON 1, the International Conference on the Water Hyacinth Menace jointly organized by Future Kerala Mission and JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi.
The recommendations call for a dedicated authority to coordinate water hyacinth management and for its integration into a comprehensive wetland conservation policy. The Minister assured that the proposals would be examined for further action.
